PM receives executives of Chinese companies

VGP – The Vietnamese Government always creates favorable conditions for foreign investors, including those from China, to do business in the country using modern and environmentally friendly technologies.

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc made the remarks at a reception for Li Linzhi, Chairwoman of Kaidi Ecological and Environmental Technology Co. Ltd, and Li Huaizhen, CEO of China Minsheng Investment Co. Ltd, in Ha Noi on December 5.

The Government leader welcomed the guests’ visit to Viet Nam to seek investment opportunities, highlighting the growing comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries, particularly in economic cooperation.

The Vietnamese Government has made unceasing efforts to improve the business climate, he said, adding that the country has climbed nine places in the World Bank’s 2016 Doing Business report.

The PM applauded the plan of Kaidi and Minsheng, which possess huge capital and technology potential, to invest in Viet Nam’s infrastructure and environment sectors, while asking relevant ministries and sectors to address the two companies’ recommendations and create favorable conditions for their investment activities in Viet Nam.  

For her part, Li Linzhi noted that since her meeting with the PM during his official visit to China three months ago, Kaidi has been deploying a number of activities to boost cooperation with the Vietnamese side.

She voiced her belief that there are currently numerous investment opportunities for her company in the Southeast Asian country.

Meanwhile, Li Huaizhen noted that the Minsheng has set up a working group in charge of investment in Viet Nam and conducted a market survey since his meeting with the Vietnamese government leader in China.

Minsheng sees big investment opportunities in Viet Nam and the S-shaped country will become its key market in the fields of infrastructure and clean energy, he said, adding that with its capital and technology potential, Minsheng will be able to well satisfy Viet Nam’s environmental protection requirements.
