PM Pham Minh Chinh arrives for welcome ceremony at Les Invalides in Paris

The welcome ceremony for Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh takes places at Les Invalides in Paris, France, November 3, 2021

Pham landed in Paris earlier the same day, starting his official visit to France at the invitation of his French counterpart Jean Castex from November 3-5.

He is accompanied by Minister of Public Security To Lam, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Trade and Industry Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung, and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan.

This is Pham’s first official visit to a European country after taking office. 

Following the welcome ceremony, Pham will hold talks with French Prime Minister Jean Castex and meet President of the French Senate Gérard Larcher.

Both sides are set to ink agreements in the fields of aerospace, infrastructure, renewable energy and high technology during Pham’s visit, in addition to strengthening health cooperation, La Tribune financial newspaper reported./.
