PM offers incense at Gac Ma memorial complex dedicated to naval soldiers
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday offered incense at the Gac Ma memorial complex to pay tribute to 64 soldiers who laid down their lives in the March 14, 1988 naval battle to protect Gac Ma island of Viet Nam's Spratly archipelago.

The memorial complex is located in Cam Hai commune, Cam Lam district of the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa.
Putting his ink in the book of commemoration, PM Pham wrote: These men are examples who bravely sacrificed for the sacred sovereignty of our Fatherland. These bright examples are evidence of the heroism, lending color to the proud tradition of Vietnamese nation./.
