PM Dung extends sympathy to Laos over helicopter crash

In a message to his Lao counterpart Thongsing Thammavong, PM Dung, on behalf of the Party, Government, Army and people of Viet Nam extended deep sympathies to the Party, Government, Army and people of Laos as well as families of the victims, hoping Laos would soon overcome the pain.

The accident took place on July 27 when the military aircraft crashed in Longcheng district, Saysomboun province while en route from Vientiane to Luangprabang, killing 19 passengers and four crew members.

Lao authorities are now investigating the causes of the tragic accident./.
