PM approves agreement with Belgium on administrative reform and poverty reduction in Hậu Giang Prov.

VNGOP – The PM has just approved the specific agreement between the Governments of Vietnam and Belgium on the project "Administrative reform and implementing the Comprehensive Poverty Reduction and Growth Strategy (CPRGS) in Hậu Giang Province".

The PM also okays the above-mentioned project's portfolio coded 004 03 01 with the total expense of €2,750,000, including €2.5 million as the nonrefundable grant from the Belgian Government and €250,000 as Vietnam's responding fund allocated from Hậu Giang Province's annual budget.

Leaders of the Ministry of Planning and Investment were authorized by the PM to represent the Vietnamese Government in signing the agreement with the Belgian counterparts.

The Hậu Giang Province People's Committee, taking into account recommendations from the relevant agencies, will ratify and implement the Project under current regulations.
