Plan to implement UN Convention against Torture ratified

The PM has approved the action plan to implement the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.

According to the plan, related ministries and agencies need to launch communication work on popularizing the regulations against torture and the content of the Convention.

The PM asked the Supreme People’s Procuracy to host and coordinate with the Supreme People’s Court and the Ministries of Public Security, Justice and National Defense to complete regulations in the Criminal Procedure Code to ensure the rights for human.
