Philippine national confirmed among latest COVID-19 cases, patient tally rises to 412

VGP – Viet Nam confirmed four more COVID-19 cases, including a 37-year old Philippine woman, raising the patient tally to 412.

The Philippine national, assigned number 209, was a passenger onboard flight QH9461 from the Republic of Korea to Phu Quoc Airport in the Southern province of Kien Giang on July 19.

The woman, who was immediately quarantined in a facility in Phu Quoc District upon arrival, is being treated at a medical center in the District.

The other three patients are Vietnamese returning from Russia after transiting in Belarus. They flew to Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh on July 17 on flight VN5062.

Patient 410 is a 25-year old man from Tien Lu District, Hung Yen Province.

Patient 411 os a 30-year old woman from Viet Tri city, Phu Tho Province.

Patient 412 is a 49-year old man from Dong Hoi – capital city of the central province of Quang Binh.

The trio are being treated at the General Hospital in the northern province of Nam Dinh.

With the above three cases, the number of COVID-19 patients onboard the flight VN5062 rose to 19.

Of the patient tally confirmed so far in Viet Nam, 365 have been cleared of the virus and exited hospitals./.
