Speaking at a national conference on December 11 reviewing anti-corruption efforts, the Party leader stressed that the fight must be resolute, persistent, regular, and continuous, applying "strict but humane" measures without any "forbidden zones or exceptions."
The conference, organized by the Central Steering Committee for Prevention and Control of Corruption, Wastefulness and Negative Phenomena, was connected to more than 4,000 locations across ministries, agencies, military units, provinces, districts, and communes, with over 190,000 delegates participating in person and online.
General Secretary To, who also leads the Steering Committee, emphasized that the anti-corruption drive must put national and public interests first, and aims to build a "clean, strong, efficient, effective, and integrity-driven" Party and political apparatus that serves the people and accelerates national development.

Authorities must maintain vigorous detection and strict punishment of violations while intensifying anti-corruption efforts at the local level, he said.
The Party chief also urged deeper institutional reforms and better inter-agency coordination, stressing the need for breakthroughs in institutional reform, personnel work, science and technology, and digital transformation to ensure transparency, accountability, and openness.
He called on all officials and Party members to lead by example through self-discipline and ethical behavior, while encouraging citizens to actively participate in and supervise the anti-corruption efforts.
At the event, General Secretary To Lam and other Party and State leaders presented orders to 35 organizations and 56 individuals in recognition of their exemplary contributions to the campaign./.
