Party Central Committee’s 13th plenum opens in Ha Noi

During the plenum, the delegates will discuss preparations for the 14th National Party Congress, including personnel work and documents to be submitted to the Congress; and socio-economic performance in 2025.

In his opening remarks, General Secretary To Lam said the delegates will comment on the list of nominees for the election to the 14th Party Central Committee and to the 14th Inspection Committee.

The Party leaders urged the participants to clarify new growth model based on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; the role of of the State economy; and the role of private economy.

He called on the participants to enrich the contents for strategic autonomy and growth model renovation.

The Party chief also urged the participants to deliberate on the draft socio-economic development plan for 2026, with a focus on ways to maintain macro-economic stability, promote three key growth drivers (investment-consumption-export), boost digital transformation and green conversion, improve productivity and quality of the economy, advance the development of capital, labor, science and technology, real property markets, and promote the implementation of the program on development of 11 strategic technologies as enshrined in the Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthrough development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation./.
