Northern provinces expand cooperation with China's Guangxi province

Chinese Ambassador to Viet Nam Xiong Bo and Vietnamese Consul General in Nanning Do Nam Trung also attended the meeting.

In 2023, the four provinces and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region effectively implemented the results of last year's meeting.

Viet Nam and China continue to deepen practical cooperation in many fields, achieving many positive results. This contributes to the stability and long-term development of the Viet Nam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

In 2024, China's Guangxi province is willing to work with the Vietnamese provinces to realize common perceptions reached by the high-ranking leaders of the two countries' Parties and States, thus further deepening the relationship between the two countries.

All parties participating in this year's meeting had frank and in-depth exchanges. They summarized and comprehensively evaluated the results of cooperation over the past year and proposed directions for future work.

They agreed that China and Viet Nam are good neighbors, friends, comrades and partners. Hence, the two sides need to work together to build a community with a shared future, follow each country's path of modernization, achieve mutual benefit, and bring benefits to the two peoples.

Within the framework of the event, Liu hosted separate receptions for the Party leaders of Ha Giang, Quang Ninh, Lang Son and Cao Bang, during which they exchanged ideas on the implementation of common perceptions reached by senior leaders of the two Parties and nations as well as measures to boost practical collaboration in various fields./.
