No new COVID-19 case reported over last 4.5 days, more patients recover

VGP – There has been no new COVID-19 infection cases over the last 4.5 days, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control just reported minutes ago.

This means the total number of COVID-19 patients in Viet Nam still remains unchanged at 268, of whom 214 have recovered.

On Monday alone, 12 patients were released from four hospitals in different localities, including:

Patient 228 is a 29-year old man, hospitalized on April 6.

He has been treated at the General Hospital of Nho Quan District in Ninh Binh Province.

Patient 210 is a 26-year old woman, hospitalized on March 30.

Patient 238 is a 17-year old girl, hospitalized on April 4.

Both of them have been treated at the General Hospital of Cau Treo International Border Gate Area in the central province of Ha Tinh.

Patient 224 is a 39-year old Brazilian man, hospitalized on April 1.

Pattient 236 is a 26-year old British woman, hospitalized on April 4.

The pair have been treated at the Cu Chi field hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.

Patients numbered 164, 165, 180, 181, 182, 230, 240 were released from the General Hospital in Ninh Binh Province.

All of them will continue to be isolated and monitored for the next 14 days.

The current 54 active cases have been treated at 9 medical facilities across the nation, said the Steering Committee./.
