New regulations on trade promotion organizations

Decree 28 regulated that foreign trade promotion organizations which are of the Government or not of the Government, and the associations which were established in foreign countries, operate in trade promotion in Viet Nam must set up representative offices in Viet Nam. 

Trade promotion organizations exclude foreign traders, non-Governmental organizations, cooperative organizations, cultural and educational organizations prescribed at other legal regulations.

Each foreign trade promotion organization is not allowed to establish over one representative office in a province or a city. 

Foreign trade promotion organizations must operate in line with Viet Nam’s laws. 

Heads of foreign trade promotion organizations must register with competent State agencies in Viet Nam./.
