Under the Resolution, the Government comprises 14 ministries and ministerial-level agencies.
The Ministries are: Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
Three ministerial-level agencies are: State Bank of Viet Nam, Government Inspectorate, and Government Office.
The above ministries and agencies will officially come into operation from March 1, 2025.
Current ministries and agencies formed under the Resolution No. 08/2021/QH15 of the National Assembly on the organizational structure of the Government will continue operation until February 28, 2025.
Also on February 18, 2025, the National Assembly voted to approve Resolution No. 177/2025/QH15 on the number of the Government members.
Under the Resolution, the Government comprises 25 members: Prime Minister, seven Deputy Prime Ministers, 14 Ministers, and three heads of ministerial-level agencies.
The National Assembly voted to confirm Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung and Chairman of the Central Commission for Mass Mobilization Mai Van Chinh as new Deputy Prime Ministers.
The legislative body also voted to confirm Tran Hong Minh as Minister of Construction, Nguyen Manh Hung as Minister of Science and Technology, Do Duc Duy as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Dao Ngoc Dung as Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
Tran Hong Minh currently holds the post as Minister of Transport, Nguyen Manh Hung currently serves as Minister of Information and Communications, Do Duc Duy currently holds the post as Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and Dao Ngoc Dung is current Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs./.
