New Chairman of CPVCC’s Office announced

VGP – The Politburo has assigned Nguyen Duy Ngoc to hold the postion as Chairman of the Office of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee (CPVCC).

Politburo member, Standing member of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee (CPVCC) Secretariat Luong Cuong hands over the Politburo’s assignment decision to Nguyen Duy Ngoc, new Chairman of the CPVCC Office, Ha Noi, June 3, 2024.

Nguyen, a member of the CPVCC, was promoted to the new role from his previous position as Deputy Minister of Public Security since August 2019.

He replaces his predecessor Le Minh Hung who was elected to the Politburo on May 16, 2024 and assigned to hold the post as Chairman of the CPVCC's Organization Commission.

The CPVCC's Office is the advisory body to the CPVCC, the Politburo, and the CPVCC's Secretariat in Party affairs./.
