National Steering Committee for Int'l Integration to review five-year operations

VGP – The Prime Minister has approved the organization of a conference to review the operations of the National Steering Committee for International Integration on the occasion of its fifth founding anniversary.

Accordingly, the conference will take place in the first half of April 2019 under the theme “Strengthening international integration in a proactive, creative and effective fashion for rapid and sustainable development”.

The event aims to comprehensively assess the results attained by the Government in implementing the 11th Politburo’s Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW dated April 10, 2013 on international integration, and the 12th Party Central Committee’s Resolution No. 06-NQ/TW dated November 5, 2016  on effectively implementing the process of international integration and maintaining socio-political stability in the context of Viet Nam’s participation in new-generation free trade agreements”, with a focus on the period of 2014-2019. The conference will also draw lessons and propose appropriate measures to strengthen international integration in the coming time.

The conference will be attended by representatives from the Party and National Assembly bodies and the President’s Office, unions and socio-political organizations, including the Viet Nam Fatherland Front, the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labor, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Viet Nam Farmers’ Association, and a number of international organizations in Viet Nam.
