National Assembly TV Channel launched

The NA TV channel will provide comprehensive coverage of the activities of the top legislative body and local People's Councils.  It will also provide extensive coverage of people’s aspirations for the NA, Government, Party and State.
 
In preparation for the legislative TV channel, VOV has cooperated with other TV agencies such as VTV, VTC, K , Saigontourist SCTV, MyTV, and HTV to ensure good infrastructure facilities.
 
Addressing the event, head of the NA Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc said the channel will help voice voters’ opinions and aspirations swiftly and fully as well as acting as a bridge connecting the NA with voters and as a forum for them to exchange ideas in order to increase the NA’s operation efficiency.
 
 
At the 18th meeting of the 13th NA Standing Committee on May 16, 2013, the Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) was assigned to be in charge of producing the National Assembly TV channel.

Since October 2014, the channel has had a trial run for five hours a day on VOV TV channel.
