More than 1,100 Vietnamese citizens in Ukraine brought home safe

VGP - Two flights carrying nearly 600 Vietnamese citizens who travelled to Poland and Romania from Ukraine landed in Ha Noi on Sunday morning.

One of the flight with 288 people onboard departed from Poland's Warsaw and the other with 291 passengers from Romania's Bucharest.

They are the third and the fourth repatriation flights over the past week. 

The first two repatriation  flights were arranged on March 8 and March 10, bringing home more than 550 nationals home.

As of 4:00pm on March 12, more than 4,500 Vietnamese in Ukraine reached nearby countries, including 950 to Romania, 2,800 to Poland, 660 to Hungary, nearly 130 to Slovakia and over 40 to Russia.
