This is part of the requirements from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs (MOLISA) to protect guest workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Labor export enterprises must inform Vietnamese guest workers of disease prevention measures taken by  their host countries and report any  infections among the Vietnamese guest workers to the authorities where they work and live for smooth coordination.

Statistics showed that in the first three months of 2021, Viet Nam sent 29,541  workers abroad, meeting 32.82% of the preset goal, equivalent to 92.13% of the figure recorded in the same period last year.

Japan was the biggest recipient market by recruiting 18,178 Vietnamese workers; followed by Chinese Taipei (10,333), China (265), Romania (187), Hungary (183), the RoK (135 female workers), and Singapore (81)./.
