MOLISA proposes food relief for 658,000 people for Tet holiday

VGP - The Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs has suggested the Government allocate 11,400 tons of rice from the national reserve to support 658,000 people struggling with difficulties during the Lunar New Year Festival.

Specifically, 6,900 tons of rice should be allocated to 460,000 residents of seven provinces namely Cao Bang, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Gia Lai, Ninh Thuan, Phu Yen, and Tay Ninh.

Nearly 3,000 tons of rice should be given to 198,000 people in Cao Bang, Quang Ninh and Gia Lai. 

Last year, the Government provided rice relief totalling 130,000 tons for pandemic-affected people in 24 cities and provinces./.
