Laos presents medals to Vietnamese defense leaders

Senior lieutenant general Douangchay Phichith presents Itsala medals to leaders and former leaders of the Vietnamese Defense Ministry and the General Department of Politics

Senior lieutenant general Douangchay Phichith, Lao Deputy PM and Defense Minister, presented the second-grade Itsala medals to Senior lieutenant general Do Ba Ty, Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Minister of Defense; Senior lieutenant general Truong Quang Khanh, Deputy Minister of Defense; Admiral Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Minister of Defense; Senior lieutenant general Nguyen Van Duoc, former Deputy Minister of Defense; Senior lieutenant general Bui Van Huan, former Chairman of the General Department of Politics.

Mr. Phichith also gave the first-grade Itsala medal to a representative of General Le Van Dung, former Chairman of the General Department of Politics; and the second-grade medals to representatives of Senior lieutenant general Nguyen Chi Vinh, Deputy Minister of Defense; Senior lieutenant general Le Huu Duc, Deputy Minister of Defense; Senior lieutenant general Nguyen Huy Hieu, former Deputy Minister of Defense; Senior lieutenant general Nguyen Van Rinh, former Deputy Minister of Defense; Senior lieutenant general Phan Trung Kien, former Deputy Minister of Defense; Senior lieutenant general Nguyen Khac Nghiem, former Chief of the General Staff.
