Korea’ Woori bank makes debut VN unit

VGP – Woori Bank, the leading bank in the Republic of Korea, officially opened its Viet Nam unit with 100% foreign capital on November 7.

The State Bank of Viet Nam accepted the list of the personnel appointed to the Members of the Board members, members of the Supervisory Board, and the General Director of Woori Bank Viet Nam.

Woori Bank currently has two branches operating in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City. The bank will promote retails and head to become the leader in foreign credit in Viet Nam.

Credit card of Woori Bank will be officially introduced to Vietnamese customers in the first quarter of 2017.

Woori Bank, established in 1899 in Seoul, is one of the top investment banks in Asia and the largest bank in the Republic of Korea in terms of total assets.
