Foreign tourists joined tours to Loc Tho Pagoda, Phu Vinh Communal House, the ancient house of Mr Hai, Truong Son Craft Village, the Institute of Oceanography, Ponagar Tower, Long Son Pagoda, Dam Market, Truong Son Craft Village, and others.
Especially, Spectrum of the Seas, Asia's largest luxury cruise ship carrying over 4,300 foreign visitors, docked at Nha Trang Port on September 21, marking its return for the second time in a month. Since reopening, this was the third time the cruise vessel had brought international tourists to Viet Nam.
In the first nine months, the province handled 5.7 million guests, representing a year-on-year increase of 73.1 percent, surpassing the year’s target of 42.5 percent.
Particularly, the number of foreign arrivals was estimated at 1.45 million, 9.6 times higher than the same period last year. Over 4.25 domestic guests also visited Khanh Hoa, up 119.4 percent the same period last year. The coastal province earned over VND27 trillion of revenue, up 154.8 percent against the same period last year.
Earlier, Khanh Hoa expects to welcome 4 million tourists in 2023, including 2.5 million domestic tourists and 1.5 million international visitors, with total tourism revenue of VND 21 trillion./.
