The Prime Minister spoke highly of the effective partnership of the KFAED in Viet Nam, especially its provision of concessional and non-refundable loans for 15 projects across various localities with a total value of over US$183 million.
These contributions have helped improve essential infrastructure, social welfare, climate change mitigation, and the living standards of the people, especially in remote and mountainous areas, emphasized the Vietnamese Prime Minister.
He urged the KFAED to continue supporting Viet Nam in areas such as social welfare, rural development, water supply, sanitation, healthcare, education, climate-adaptive infrastructure, and disaster recovery.
There is still significant potential for cooperation between Viet Nam and Kuwait, stressed Pham, suggesting the KFAED encourage Kuwaiti enterprises to explore investment opportunities in Viet Nam in potential fields such as industry–logistics, renewable energy, the green economy, and the Halal ecosystem, while supporting Vietnamese enterprises in accessing information and cooperation opportunities in Kuwait and the Middle East.
The Prime Minister called for the KFAED's support for Viet Nam to advance the development of the areas of finance, technology, human resource training, and management science, emphasizing the need to establish a working group on promoting cooperation and investment ties.
Viet Nam stands ready to serve as a bridge for Kuwait and other Middle Eastern countries to access the markets of China and ASEAN, he affirmed./.
