Jetstar Pacific opens Da Nang-Taiwan route

VGP – The low-cost airline Jetstar Pacific officially inaugurated its direct air route connecting Da Nang city in central Viet Nam to Taiwan’s Taipei on December 2.

This is Jetstar’s first direct air route between Viet Nam’s central region and Taiwan.

The airline uses Airbus A320 on the route with three two-way flights each week on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday and is capable of serving 51,000 passengers per year.

In the first nine months of 2016, 382,000 Taiwanese visited Viet Nam, up 16% year on year.

On the occasion, Jetstar Pacific opened the sale of 11,000 tickets priced from 11,000 VND applicable to 16 domestic routes from December 2-4./.
