Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru pays respect to President Ho Chi Minh
VGP - Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru and his Spouse lay wreaths and pay respect to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Ha Noi on Monday.
Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru is on an official visit to Viet Nam from April 27-29 at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh
President Ho Chi Minh was born on May 19, 1890 in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, the central province of Nghe An. He devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation, while tirelessly striving for peace and progress around the world.
President Ho Chi Minh is the genius leader of our Party and people, the great master of the Vietnamese revolution, the hero of national liberation, a world cultural celebrity, and an outstanding soldier of the international communist movement, and the person who laid the ideological foundation for the cause of national liberation and unification.
Today and future generations of the Vietnamese people will forever bear in mind the great contributions and sacrifices for national independence, for the people's happiness and prosperity, and for the enduring prosperity and development of our nation.
The mausoleum has become an important landmark of the capital city and is integral to the political and social history of Viet Nam.
