Japan is strategic partner of top importance to Viet Nam, PM says

PM Pham, who is on a four-day official visit to Japan, made the above statement at his meeting with former Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide and President of the Japan–Viet Nam Parliamentary Friendship Union Nikai Toshihiro in Tokyo on November 23.

PM expressed his pleasure at the robust and comprehensive growth of the Viet Nam-Japan extensive strategic partnership, featuring with high political trust.

He thanked Suga, Nikai and Japanese Government for donating vaccines to Viet Nam as well as the contributions of Suga, Nikai, and the Japan–Viet Nam Parliamentary Friendship Union to the development of the Viet Nam-Japan relationship.

On the occasion, Pham attended a departure ceremony of Japanese citrus unshiu export to Viet Nam. This is part of the two countries’ efforts to boost mutual fruit trading, including Vietnamese longan and lychees./.
