Infographic: Fourth wave of COVID-19 resurgence spreads to 60 localities

VGP - Kon Tum and Ha Giang provinces are the 59th and 60th localities confirming community infection cases of COVID-19 since the fourth wave of COVID-19 resurgence broke out in Viet Nam on April 27.

Social distancing rules under the Government's Directive No. 16 are being imposed in 19 southern localities that are stricken by the COVID-19 pandemic, namely Ho Chi Minh City, the epicenter of the current COVID-19 wave, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Can Tho, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Tien Giang, Long An, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, Ben Tre, Hau Giang, An Giang, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, Tra Vinh, Ca Mau and Kien Giang.

Eleven out of the pandemic-hit localities have gone at least 14 days without community infections, namely Yen Bai, Quang Tri, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Thai Nguyen, Dien Bien, Hai Duong, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Hoa Binh and Bac Kan./.
