High-ranking officers promoted to Senior Lieutenant General

VGP – State President Truong Tan Sang on Friday handed over decisions to promote three high-ranking officers of the Viet Nam People’s Army from Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General.

The promoted officers are Deputy Defense Ministers Be Xuan Truong and Vo Trong Viet and Deputy Chief of the General Staff Vo Van Tuan.

Speaking at the ceremony, State President Sang congratulated the new Senior Lieutenant Generals on their promotion and emphasized that this is the recognition of their contributions to the development of the army forces.
