Hellenic-Vietnamese Business Council established

VGP – The Hellenic-Vietnamese Business Council (HVBC) has been set up in Athens, Greece.

The establishment of the HVBC is meaningful to the economic ties, in particular and the multi-lateral relations between Ha Noi and Athens in general.

Hellenic Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihalos applauded on the establishment of the HVBC, adding that it will contribute to the long-term cooperation between the two nations.

Mr. Constantinos Antonopoulos, CEO of INTRALOT Group has been elected as chairman of the HVBC.

Viet Nam-Greece two-way trade in 2013 reached US$210 million, three times higher than the previous year. Viet Nam gained US$186 million from exporting to Greece.
