Health ministry reports two COVID-19 deaths

VGP – Two COVID-19 patients numbered 1,040 and 742 passed away, raising the country’s death toll to 34, the Ministry of Health reported Monday.

Patient 1,040 is a 55-year old man in Hoa Vang District, Da Nang. He suffered septic shock, respiratory failure, type 2 diabetes.

The man was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on August 29.

Patient 742 is a 69-year old man in Hai Chau District, Da Nang.

He died at the Da Nang Hospital for Lung Diseases due to severe pneumonia and respiratory failure caused by COVID-19, septic shock, multiple organ failure, and heart attack.
