Health ministry confirms 43,272 new COVID-19 cases

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 43,272 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, raising the national patient tally to 10,475,819.

The latest patients include one imported case, according to the ministry.

The ministry said there were additional 4,218 recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 8,941,064.

It also announced further 13 fatalities, bringing the nation's COVID-19 death toll to 42,957 or 0.4 percent of the national caseload.

The nation has administered 209,638,138 COVID-19 vaccine doses, an increase of 154,660 doses from Sunday./.
