Gov't sets up working group on administrative reform

VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has decided to establish a working group on administrative procedure reform led by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang is the Head of the working group on administrative procedure reform

Tran will be assisted by the Minister-Chairman of the Office of the Government, the Minister of Home Affairs and the Minister of Justice.

Nembers of the working group include leaders from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry Transport, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Labor, Social Invalids and Social Affairs, the Administrative Procedure Control Agency under the Government Office.

The working group is in charge of assisting the Prime Minister in directing the implementation of tasks and solutions to reform administrative procedures and strengthen policy response capacity.

The group is also responsible for putting forward solutions to handle legal bottlenecks raised by individuals and businesses.

Earlier, the Prime Minister signed a decision to issue an administrative reform plan for the second half of 2023, aiming to seek measures to simplify 13 major groups of administrative procedures.

He tasked ministries and ministry-level agencies to work to streamline 126 administrative procedures and groups of procedures related to population management, along with 402 regulations related to business activities, and 111 procedures requiring the delegation of power for processing administrative procedures./.
