The program aims to facilitate and support businesses’ technological transfer and innovation in order to create high- quality and value-added products.
The program targets to promote technological transfer in favor of agricultural development at rural, mountainous and disadvantaged areas as well as workforce training in the science and technology sector.
By 2025, the rate of firms launching technology innovation is expected to increase by 15% annually, on average while 100% of enterprises manufacturing key products and directly joining this program will form research and development units.
The program also aims to promote labor capacity on the basis of technological innovation, particularly in sectors and areas producing high value-added products or having high export value.
Each economic zone will have at least one model for technological research, application and transfer in line with its specific conditions.
The digital technology business community has strongly developed with nearly 60,000 enterprises and annual revenue of US$120 billion, becoming an important driving force for the development of the business community in Viet Nam.
