The Government has approved a sustainable business support program for the 2026-2030 period.
The overall goal of the program is to promote high-quality and effective growth of private enterprises towards sustainability, ensuring that all business activities strike a balance between economic performance, social responsibility, and environmental protection, thereby contributing to the full implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030 and the net-zero emissions commitment by 2050.
Under the program, an ecosystem will be developed to support sustainable business practices of enterprises, household businesses, and cooperatives, making positive contributions to job creation, improving living standards for low-income and vulnerable groups, protecting the environment, and responding to climate change in the country.
The program also seeks to raise awareness among enterprises, household businesses, and cooperatives about the role, significance, and importance of sustainable business practices.
In addition, it focuses on training and enhancing the knowledge and capacity of cadres, civil servants, and public employees involved in management, support, and consultancy related to sustainable business development.
At least 20 successful and exemplary sustainable business models among enterprises, household businesses, and cooperatives will be developed to serve as reference and encourage wider adoption of sustainable business practices among enterprises./.
