The first flight is expected on March 7 from Romania and the second one on March 8 from Poland.

Around 7,000 Vietnamese people are living in Ukraine, mainly in Kharkiv, Odessa, and Kyiv. Over the past few days, almost all Vietnamese in Kyiv and Odessa and hundreds of people in Kharkiv had been evacuated to Ukraine's neighboring countries. Among them, 370 were sent to Romania, 200 to Romania, 600 to Poland, about 125 to Hungary and about 40 to Slovakia.
Evacuation efforts by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are now underway to continue bringing Vietnamese people away from dangerous areas in Ukraine to other neighboring countries and to Viet Nam.
