To reaffirmed Viet Nam's consistent policy of valuing its friendship and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Australia, stressing that Australia remains a trusted partner of Viet Nam. He noted that Viet Nam is entering a new stage of development—an era of prosperity, growth, and strength—and welcomed Australia's continued support and cooperation in realizing these key national goals.
For her part, Governor-General Mostyn, who is on a State visit to Viet Nam, expressed her admiration for the Vietnamese people, their history, and rich cultural traditions, as well as their optimism and resilience in national development.
She congratulated Viet Nam on its important achievements in recent years and emphasized that Viet Nam is among Australia's most reliable partners. She also voiced her hope that the two countries would further strengthen cooperation across all areas in the interest of a peaceful, stable, and prosperous region.
Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the growing people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. They highlighted the positive contributions of the Vietnamese community in Australia to the host nation's development and bilateral ties, as well as the role of the Australian community in Viet Nam in promoting economic, scientific, and educational cooperation.
