First four patients in Da Nang declared free of Covid-19

The first four recovered patients exit Da Nang's Lung Hospital this morning

They are patients numbered 423, 424, 441, and 442. Of these, three are natives of Da Nang and the other is resident of Quang Ngai Province.

All of them will continue to be put under medical surveillance at their places of residence over the next 14 days.

At present, Da Nang’s medical facilities are providing treatment for 242 Covid-19 patients, of whom many have tested negative at least once, according the municipal Department of Health.

With the latest cases, the number of recovered patients rose to 399 out of the country’s patient tally of 841.

Of the patient tally, 348 cases that have been confirmed since July 25 are linked to Da Nang – the current biggest hot spot of Covid-19 pandemic in Viet Nam./.
