First flight marks official operation of HN-Warsaw air route

VGP – A Boeing 767-300 of the Polish airline LOT, carrying 237 passengers on board landed at the Nội Bài International Airport on November 14, marking the official start of the direct air route between Hà Nội and Warsaw.

Mr. Krzysztof Kolodziej, chief representative of LOT in Việt Nam, said Hà Nội is now the sole destination of LOT in Southeast Asia and an entrance for the carrier to penetrate into Asia.

LOT is offering discount airfares of US $199 (single ticket) and US $380 (return ticket).

Flights from Hà Nội will take off at the mid-night of every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Established in 1929, LOT currently has 55 planes flying to 60 destinations in Europe, the Middle East and North America.
