Fireworks to light up New Year’s Eve 2026

Ha Noi

Ha Noi will launch fireworks with pyrotechnic effects at five locations. The show will run from 23:45 on December 31, 2025 to 00:00 on January 1, 2026.

Hoan Kiem Ward will host two firing positions, one in front of the headquarters of Hanoi Moi newspaper and another in front of the Ha Noi Central Post Office.

Hai Ba Trung Ward will have one firing position at Dao Dua in Thong Nhat Park.

In Tu Liem Ward, fireworks will be launched from the F1 racetrack complex.

Tay Ho Ward will host a display at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, while Ha Dong Ward's show will take place at Van Quan Lake.

Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) will stage fireworks at six locations, with three high-altitude and three low-altitude sites from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 1, 2026.

High-altitude sites are Saigon River Tunnel entrance (An Khanh Ward): planned 1,260 aerial shells, supported by 60 low-altitude racks and 10 special-effect rigs.

New City Center (Binh Duong Ward) and Tam Thang Square (Vung Tau Ward): each planned 500 aerial shells and 60 low-altitude racks.

Low-altitude fireworks will take place at Dam Sen Cultural Park (Binh Thoi Ward), Saigon Marina IFC Tower (Sai Gon Ward) and Kim Long Villas area – Rach Dia Bridge (Nha Be District).

Hai Phong City

The northern port city of Hai Phong will launch fireworks at the City Theater and Xu Dong Cultural Center Square at 00:00 on January 1, 2026, immediately following the city's New Year art program.

Quang Ninh province

On the evening of December 31, 2025, Quang Ninh will host a Countdown 2026 art show combined with high-altitude fireworks at 30/10 Square (Ha Long Ward).

The 180-minute program is expected to draw around 50,000 attendees, featuring dance, music, circus acts, EDM, modern projection, sound-light-mapping and visual technology.

Thanh Hoa province

Thanh Hoa province will hold the "Welcome 2026" program from 22:30 on December 31, 2025, highlighted by entertainment, countdown moments and low-altitude fireworks from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 1, 2026 at Lam Son Square.

Nghe An province

The central province of Nghe An will host "Nghe An Welcomes 2026 – Spirit of Song Lam", a large-scale countdown art show at VinWonders Cua Hoi – Light Square (Cua Lo Ward) on December 31, 2025, followed by fireworks. The event blends traditional culture of Nghe region with modern music genres such as EDM, rap and hip-hop.

Khanh Hoa province

The central province of Khanh Hoa will host its New Year 2026 art show at 2/4 Square (Nha Trang City) on December 31, 2025, featuring renowned artists and global DJs, culminating in a 15-minute fireworks show at midnight.

Lam Dong province

The central highland province of Lam Dong will organize its Countdown 2026 on December 31, 2025 with performances, DJ sets, 3D LED visuals, light shows and fireworks. Fireworks will be launched for 15 minutes from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 1, 2026 at three locations: Lam Vien Square (Xuan Huong Ward, Đa Lat City) – the central venue, delivering art performances themed "Lam Dong Welcomes Spring", "Vibrant Lam Dong", honoring Da Lat as the province's cultural and tourism hub./.
