Final working session of 15th National Assembly opens in Ha Noi

This is the final plenary session of the 15th legislative body, during which lawmakers are expected to deliberate on and approve 49 laws and four resolutions.

The legislators will also confirm several nominees for Cabinet positions an discuss socioeconomic affairs among other issues.

On economic issues, the National Assembly will discuss and approve budget plan for 2026, financial-budget plan for the 2026-2028 period and public debt plan for 2026-2030 period, and adjustments to the national master planning scheme for the 2021-2030.

Investment policies for four national target programs on education, healthcare-population, sustainable poverty reduction, and sustainable development in ethnic and mountainous areas will also be approved at this session scheduled to last until December 12./.
