FIFA President to attend ASEAN Cup 2026 final in Ha Noi
VGP - FIFA President Gianni Infantino, alongside FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafstrom, will attend the second leg of the ASEAN Hyundai Cup 2026 final between Viet Nam and Thailand at Ha Noi-based My Dinh Stadium on August 26.

Viet Nam is the first stop on President Infantino's tour of several Asian countries.
According to the Viet Nam Football Federation (VFF), the FIFA President and Secretary General will travel by private jet to Noi Bai International Airport in Ha Noi.
They are then expected to visit the VFF headquarters before heading to My Dinh Stadium to watch the second leg. Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT), is also expected to attend.
Gianni Infantino attended two previous editions of the Southeast Asian tournament in December 2021 in Singapore and in January 2023 in Thailand.
Viet Nam are in a strong position to claim the title after securing a 2-0 victory over Thailand in the first leg at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok on August 22./.
