In August, the locality earned over US$1.3 billion from exports, up over US$30 million from the previous month.
The month also recorded a significant increase of up to 70% of local goods shipped to the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, the US, China, and Japan.
Major commodities rising in the period included garment-textiles, footwear, handbags, wooden products, coffee, pepper, cashew nuts, machinery and electronic products.
According to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the trend is buoyed by incentives offered to local enterprises in the international integration process.-VNA
