Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra hosts Chinese Ambassador He Wei

Pham spoke highly of the Ambassador and the Chinese Embassy's positive contributions to the development of Viet Nam-China relations in recent times, particularly the successful organization of General Secretary and President To Lam's state visit to China.

She urged the two sides to effectively implement the common understandings reached by their senior leaders and continuously develop the bilateral relations, particularly substantive areas of cooperation.

She underlined the need to promote high-level and all-level exchanges and support each other in realizing their respective development goals.

Pham suggested that the two sides enhance exchanges and share experience in areas including organizational restructuring, development of high-quality human resources, attraction of talent, tourism development, cultural industries, healthcare—particularly traditional medicine—and other social sectors.

He, for his part, affirmed that relations between the two Parties and countries are advancing robustly, featuring with frequent high-level contacts, substantive cooperation across sectors, particularly remarkable growth in trade, investment and tourism, and vibrant people-to-people exchanges.

The Ambassador congratulated Viet Nam on its development achievements, particularly its strong reforms across various fields under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, headed by General Secretary and President To Lam.

China stands ready to work with Viet Nam to promote exchanges and mutual learning and jointly advance the cause of socialist development in each country, bringing tangible benefits to the peoples of both countries, reiterated the diplomat./.
