The Deputy Prime Minister stated that Viet Nam always treasures cooperation with the world's leading technology giants, considering it as a key driver for digital transformation and the development of a knowledge-based economy.
He called on Amazon to continue accompanying Viet Nam on its development path in the time ahead, and expand collaboration with Vietnamese technology enterprises to enhance production and product development within the corporation's ecosystem in the country.
The Vietnamese Government stands ready to create favorable conditions for Amazon to launch long-term operation and effective business in the nation, contributing to the development of Viet Nam's e-commerce market and science-technology ecosystem, underlined Le.
The Vietnamese Government will support enterprises in developing technological capacity through flexible and transparent mechanisms that encourage creativity and cooperation, contributing to enhancing competitiveness in digital economy, reiterated the Deputy Prime Minister.
For her side, Pointer praised Viet Nam's socioeconomic development achievements in 2025, especially in administrative reform and digital transformation.
Amazon has carried out many activities to support Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises in exporting globally, she noted, adding that over the past year, the number of products sold globally on Amazon by Vietnamese businesses increased by 35 percent.
To date, thousands of Vietnamese enterprises are exporting and growing their global business via Amazon.
She affirmed that Amazon will maintain long-term cooperation with Viet Nam, support elevating "Made in Viet Nam" products and help the nation become a center for export via e-commerce in Southeast Asia.
Recently, Amazon Global Selling Viet Nam and Viet Nam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) launched a three-year strategic program titled V-Brands Go Global, with two goals: providing comprehensive training and online export certification for 1,000 Vietnamese enterprises, and supporting national brands in strengthening their international presence through e-commerce.
The Amazon representative expressed her desire to increase the localization rate in its electronic component supply chain and encourage Vietnamese enterprises to participate more deeply in the corporation's global value chain.
She proposed fostering stronger ties in training high-quality human resources in digital technology, data, and AI—key factors for Viet Nam's sustainable development in the digital era./.
