He spoke highly of the outcomes of cooperation between the Voice of Viet Nam (VOV) and the Cambodian Ministry of Information and the National Voice of Cambodia in installing radio and television stations and improving the capacity of radio and television program production within the framework of the inter-governmental cooperation agreement.
Both sides should continue increasing coverage in both Vietnamese and Cambodian languages and adding more cultural and art programs featuring the two countries and their people in order to raise mutual understanding, said Deputy PM Dam.
As the two countries have organized various activities to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties (June 24) this year, the host said it is a chance to raise the awareness of the public, especially young generations, of the traditional friendship and solidarity between the two countries.
On the occasion, he wished that Cambodia would reap greater achievements in the national construction and successfully hold the Senate and National Assembly elections next year./.
