Daily COVID-19 count passes 2,000 mark for fourth consecutive day

VGP – Viet Nam's daily COVID-19 count on Friday surpassed the 2,000 mark for the fourth consecutiveday, official data showed.

According to the Ministry of Health's data released on Friday afternoon, there were 2,075 new cases over the last 24 hours, bringing the total caseload to 11,192,043 in the country. 

The latest infections included one imported case, the ministry added.

The ministry also reported additional 9,481 recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 9,957,655. 

 The death toll remained unchanged at 43,094 as no new fatality was confirmed over the last 24 hours. 

The nation has administered 247,726,474 COVID-19 vaccine doses, an increase of 387,222 doses from Thursday./.
