Da Nang int’l airport receives six millionth guest

Three domestic airlines are launching domestic air routes and 15 others are exploiting international air routes to Da Nang International Airport, said Deputy Director of Da Nang International Airport To Ngoc Hai.

He added that the airport receives more than 130 domestic and international flights with about 18,000 passengers per day.

To meet the needs of passengers in the coming time, Da Nang International Airport has planned to expand its capacity to ten million passengers per year by 2020 and 14 million passengers per year by 2030, he added.

The airport is estimated to welcome 6.7 million passengers in 2015, up 34% over the previous year including 1.4 million foreign passengers, up 58% over 2014.

The airport ranked 23rd among 30 best airports in Asia, according to the Guide to Sleeping in Airports.
