Cultural, historic sites in Ha Noi welcome back visitors from February 15
VGP - Ha Noi’s cultural and historic sites such as the Temple of Literature, the One Pillar Pagoda, Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Ngoc Son Temple have been allowed to reopen to visitors from February 15 after more than nine months of closure as a COVID-19 containment move.

The reopening of relic sites must be carried out in line with health regulations of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and relevant agencies.
Accordingly, visitors are required to scan QR codes, make medical declarations, wear face masks, and thoroughly wash their hands with disinfectant.
Visitors are encouraged to receive at least two shots of COVID-19 vaccine or test negative for the virus within 72 hours using RT-PCR method before visiting the sites.
Due to COVID-19 outbreak, in 2021, Ha Noi only welcomed 4 million domestic tourists (equivalent to 53 percent of domestic tourists in 2020 and equal to 36 percent of the plan set out at the beginning of the year).
Total revenue from domestic tourists is estimated at VND11.28 trillion (equivalent to 40 percent of total revenue in 2020 and equal to 23 percent of the plan).
