CPV Central Committee discusses new development model

VGP – The 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) on Monday deliberated on a project to innovate Viet Nam's development model, according to an announcement released following the first working day of the Committee's 3rd plenum.

The Central Committee reviewed the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022 on further innovation and improvement of institutions and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of land management and use.

The Central Committee also discussed major orientations for amending the Land Law and related laws; the Party's Regulations on prohibited conduct for Party members, and amendments to Regulation 20-QD/TW on implementing the Party Charter adopted in April 2026.

The same day, the CPV Central Committee voted to remove Bui Van Hai, former member of the 12th CPV Central Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Bac Giang province (now Bac Ninh province) from all Party positions as a disciplinary measure./.
