Construction begins on Terminal 3 at Tan Son Nhat In'l Airport

VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Terminal 2 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City – Viet Nam's biggest economic engine.

 The terminal, with total investment capital of VND10,990 billion, is expected to come into operation by the end of 2024, helping to increase the airport's capacity to 50 million annually.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport is the busiest airport in Viet Nam, with Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 for domestic and international flights, respectively.

During high-peak period, the airport serves for 840-850 flights with 130,000passengers per day./.
